“Coffee spilled on your white shirt?” Got you!” she captioned a recent video.

She said to start the cleaning process by removing excess coffee with a paper towel.

Next, place the stained shirt in a bowl or bucket and pour hot water over it using a kettle.

Finally, add a cup of vinegar and a teaspoon of dish soap to the mixture and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

You can then continue and wash the garment as usual.

If there’s a stain left, scrub it with a toothbrush before washing, she says.

In Mccauley’s video showing the process, the stain came out right away.

“Be blessed!” someone commented.

“It totally worked dabbing those ingredients as well (since I can’t take my dress off right now)!!”

Commenters also shared other tips for removing coffee stains.

“Lol you must be a real coffee addict and suck on that coffee!! You can’t waste it,” one joked.

“Just put it in the washing machine straight away, no need for anything else,” said another.

“OR, apply liquid Dawn directly to the stain,” said a third person.

“Leave it on for about 10 minutes and wash off.”
