Gemma Atkinson has revealed she asks her two-year-old daughter, Mia, to help her with household chores.

The 36-year-old took to Instagram to share a clip of the tot helping mum with the laundry.

The soap actress put Mia’s clothes back on as the little one gently placed them in the washing machine, reports the MEN.

“What is the right age to involve children in household chores?” she asked her 1.7 million followers.

“Mia has started and luckily she seems to be enjoying it! »

Her fans took to the comments section to share what they think is an appropriate age for children to get involved in helping around the house.

“When they want to. Believe me, it fades quickly in adolescence,” one user joked.

Another shared when they first started helping: ‘My mum ironed me from when I was 12 after I said it was her job, it didn’t hurt me at all though.’

Gemma read the comment and replied, “Gorkas the same! His mum got him started and 2 years ago before a party he sat down and sewed the hem of his pants.

“My mind was blown! Good to start young I guess!”

“My son is 2.5 and already loves making his bed in the morning and helping around the house. Good husband in the making,” one user added.

One follower shared their perspective and said, “Kids don’t see it as a chore, they spend time with mom or dad!! Look how proud Mia looked to help you out!!”

Earlier this year, Gemma took to social media to share a clip of her teaching her partner, Gorka Marquez, how to use the washing machine.

Maybe Mia could have taught him.
