A fourth dunning check is always possible
A FOURTH dunning check is always possible and new payments could automatically land in the accounts if approved.
Lawmakers want to advance the latest round of stimulus checks that have already handed out $ 1,400 to every eligible adult and child under the US bailout during the Covid pandemic.

Some of the payments include “plus-up” adjustments for those who have been underpaid on previous checks.
On June 9, the IRS said it distributed more than 169 million payments worth $ 395 billion, but it has since warned that there could be delays.
Yet among a pair of letters sent to President Joe Biden, seven Democrats from the House Ways and Means Committee had expressed support for another round of stimulus checks.
It was signed by 26 Democrats, who had pushed for the adoption of “automatic stabilizers.”
They believed it would help lawmakers avoid negotiations over any future relief plan, allowing for faster distribution.
The proposed legislation includes unemployment as an automatic stabilizer, which would allow the current number of eligible unemployed Americans to claim an automatic relief payment.
When the unemployment rate finally rises above this predetermined level, the relief would automatically be withdrawn again.
Lawmakers estimate that “nearly six in ten say the $ 1,400 payments to be included in the bailout will last them less than three months.”
They also argued that additional payments could help lift more than 18 million Americans above the poverty line.
Their proposals coincide with a petition calling for stimulus check payments of $ 2,000.
Launched last year by Colorado restaurant owner Stephanie Bonin, it has over 2.7 million signatures.
It reads: “I call on Congress to support families with a payment of $ 2,000 for adults and a payment of $ 1,000 for children immediately, and by continuing regular check-ups throughout the duration of the crisis.
“Otherwise, laid-off workers, workers on leave, the self-employed and workers on reduced hours will find it difficult to pay their rent or put food on the table. “
She urges lawmakers to target checks on Americans who are struggling to pay debts such as rent and child care.
Bonin wrote: “To move forward, Congress must automate recurring checks if certain triggers are met.
“No more waiting for our government to send the help we need.
However, Biden appeared reluctant to introduce monthly checks worth up to $ 2,000.
Instead, it focused on tax credits for child care and other expenses.
Currently, American families with children under the age of six will receive up to $ 300 per month as part of the extended child tax credit.
The first checks started landing in bank accounts on July 15, and subsequent payments will be made on the 15th of each month.
If the 15th falls on a weekend, as happens this month (August), payments will be slightly delayed.
Americans will receive six checks this year and will have to claim the other half of their credit when filing tax returns.
